Point in time when character has been taken from canon:
Before the New 52 Reboot, the new robin, Tim Drake, took over his old role as Robin to keep Batman/Bruce Wayne in check and it was discovered that Bruce Wayne had a biological son, Damien.
Character History:
Born into an acrobatic family "The Flying Graysons" that toured around the country with a very famous circus, by the age of eight, his circus home settled in Gotham City for a week long show, but tragedy struck when Two Face, a half burnt crime boss with a split personality, held the circus hostage against Batman and murdered his parents after they tried to stop him blowing up the tent.
Orphaned, Richard Grayson was adopted by Bruce Wayne, Gotham's eccentric billionaire who took pity on him and saw a little bit of himself in the young child, welcoming him into his new life with open arms. Soon, the curious Grayson got wandering about the manor, and discovered that Bruce Wayne was indeed Batman. After countless fights and shouting matches, Bruce put Grayson through intense training with hand to hand combat of all types, coupled with his acrobatic training, eventually went out on patrol with Batman as his first side kick, Robin.
Growing up and turning into a strong minded, bi-lingual, detective level intelligent, peak of physical strength young man, Grayson also developed a bit of a different view on life from Bruce's campaign as Batman, and after a few heated discussions, decided to leave Gotham and settle in the sister city of Bludhaven, where he took up the mantle of Nightwing of a night time to combat the high crime rate, taking various day jobs as Richard Grayson, occasionally visiting his home town of Gotham when needed.
On top of his duties to Bludhaven, he is also friends with the majority of the Justice League, who have on many occasions stated that ‘Aside from Superman, Nightwing is the most trusted person a crime fighter could know’. Something he takes great pride in while at the same time can be a little frightful to have that must trust put solely on him.
Calling home every now and then to check up on his brothers via landline, he even drops a message to Oracle (Former Batgirl 1 Barbara Gordan), for her to pass onto those out on patrol to make sure he isn’t forgotten, and that they are safe.
Character Personality: (please also include how the stress of incarceration and the Warden's interference may affect your character. We realize that character interaction may influence and change this, however, certain aspects of your character's personality may be considered constant):
Light hearted and able to let almost anything offensive brush off, Grayson is a bit of a prankster when it comes to friends and family, and loves a good laugh.
Knowing the inside of a prison cell as part of various undercover missions to get to know certain prisoners and gain trust for information, understand their stories and possibly even give them a second chance at a normal life.
Outside of a prison cell, having been a police officer as a regular day job, he understand the legality behind each arrest, the paper work, the long hours and how one could miss their families or leave their families due to stress or the chance of them ending up hurt.
Apart from a police officer, he’s enjoyed other jobs such as bartending, which he misses a little, the crowd, the gossip, and the live performances which he even sang for once. There may be a slight love for Uniforms involved in the choices of day jobs he goes for.
Cool and calculating, he has the mind of a detective and easily picks up on emotions of others, facts overlooked by a simpler mind, misplaced items and devious acts in the process.
Smooth talker and knows he's a bit of a player, though most of it is for show. His pervious experiences with women haven’t been too pleasant, and those he holds dear to him tend to get hurt while with him, so while he enjoys a hug or two, it probably won’t go further then that unless he wants it to. While he has had girlfriends in the past, it has been implied that he also likes men as the flirting doesn’t stop at just girls.
Aside from the serious relationship side of things, he has a knack for making friends with nearly everyone, having the ability to be the go between of all the cliques and will protect anyone who needs help. Good and those who have done bad or otherwise.
Though he is willing to protect those around him, if you wrong him, he will be reluctant to help in the future without good reason unless it was a terrible thing you did to him or someone close to him, in which he won’t help you, just won’t allow you to die.
Finally, he’s a mess maker, unable to keep his apartment clean for more then half an hour before throwing clothes about the bedroom, leaving dirty plates in the sink and newspapers everywhere and has been repeatedly scolded for it every time someone pays him a visit.
Physical Description:
Just sitting on 6 foot tall, he has short cropped, black hair just covering his eyes, well built is scarring all over his body from numerous fights against crime. Bright, dark blue eyes that runs in the Wayne family, nimble and very flexible.

Not really, this character is more of a deal with things as they come along type of person.

Blowing a large huff of air into his fringe and removing it from the bored look on his face, the oldest son of the Wayne family allowed all in the room of his state. Chin resting on his palm, squirming about in his chair at the kitchen bench, he allowed the youngest of the Wayne family to waver on about how he didn't like anyone touching his food before raising his hand high in the air. "Listen, Little D," He started off, taking his turn to ignore the little death glare from his sibling at the nick name. "No one is going to touch your popcorn, Timmy here isn't going to sit next to you, I am, and we still haven't decided on a movie. I'm only here for the weekend while Bruce is busy, not for the rest of the month."
Finally getting an agreement nod out of the spiteful preteen, Grayson sat up straight as his mood lifted from boredom to contemplation. "Now, we have Pretty Woman, Pirates of a Caribbean, well.... we pretty much have everything. Tim, you pick this time."
The bickering started anew, and Grayson just smiled.

My heart is racing; I don't know what to think at the moment. In the past twenty-four hours, I have been tried, found guilty and awaiting transport to prison so fast it's made my head spin. I don't even recall exactly what I was tried for, the major thing I do remember being attempted murder. Sure, it's happened before as I was roaming around the city as Nightwing, but being found guilty of all of this as mild mannered son of Bruce Wayne? Not even daddy had time to bail me out of this one. Heck, I bet he's only just heard about it and kicking himself in the ass right now. Strangely enough, I'm not all that worried. I've seen Arkham Asylum first hand, and that was a hell hole in itself. If I can survive that with my sanity intact, then this place should be a breeze... I hope. Maybe I can find out why I was set up.
